Active voice: The subject carries out the action that is expressed in the verb.
Passive voice: Occurs when the object of an action is made into the subject of a sentence.

Passive and Active voice: There are not always pleasant people, nor is the weather always beautiful.

As I was writing the first paper, there were many things I had not noticed, such as comma splices and other errors. While writing my second paper, I felt much more comfortable and was able to notice when I was making mistakes more frequently. As I was writing the third draft, I noticed my story had become a little more interesting. I had not had as many grammatical errors or comma splices. I feel much more comfortable now.
